• Account information, such as your sign-in method, email address, phone number, Apple account, Google account, or anonymous guest identifier.
• Profile information you choose to provide, such as your name, birth date, birth time, and birth place.
• Ritual information, including ritual names, ritual types, reminder time, gratitude text, completion history, streaks, grace days, circles, counts, campaign submissions, and content requests.
• Notification settings and device tokens needed to send reminders or app messages.
• Technical information from Firebase and app platforms, such as device type, app version, basic diagnostics, authentication events, and security logs.

2. How we use information

We use information to operate and improve Sankalp, including to:

• Create and secure your account.
• Save rituals, completions, streaks, circles, campaign activity, and preferences.
• Personalize ritual suggestions and panchang-related app experiences.
• Send reminders or service-related messages if you enable notifications.
• Provide support, troubleshoot issues, prevent misuse, and maintain app safety.

3. Optional birth details

Birth date, birth time, and birth place are optional. When provided, they may be used to suggest a ritual or personalize the experience. Do not enter information you do not want stored in your account.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information only as needed for:

• Service providers that help operate the app, such as Firebase, Google, Apple, and notification infrastructure.
• User-directed actions, such as sharing a streak through WhatsApp or another share sheet.
• Legal, safety, fraud prevention, or security reasons when required or appropriate.

5. Third-party services

Sankalp uses third-party services that may process data under their own terms and policies, including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, local notification services, and platform app stores. This website loads fonts from Google Fonts to match the app design.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep information while it is needed to provide the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. You can request deletion of your account data at ritualtracker.com/data-deletion.html.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including Firebase security controls and encrypted network connections where available. No system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.

8. Children

Sankalp is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

9. International use

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. By using Sankalp, you understand that information may be transferred and processed where our service providers operate.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice in the app or on this website.
